The Communications Advanced Research Laboratory (CARL) wireless testbed at Karlstad University offers a comprehensive indoor 5G system with 5G New Radio access (in SA mode) and a Gen-2 Starlink connection. The testbed is a partnership with industry leaders Ericsson and Telia, where we have developed a cutting-edge research platform that harnesses the full potential of 5G technology. The testbed also offers a visualisation platform that enables live data monitoring of network performance and facilitates dataset downloads for further research.
